This efficient portable unit is Energy Star rated and operates quietly on 2 fan speeds (high/low) in rooms up to 5,000 sq. ft. This unit has an auto-restart program and a smart dehumidifying function that allows the unit to automatically control humidity by factoring in ambient room temperature. The automatic de-icing system ensures the coils are always ice-free while the low temperature feature allows the system to continue to operate at temperatures as low as 41°F (5°C). Cleaning comes with ease due to the removable air filter and direct-drain system. It has four built-in castors that make it easy and convenient to move the unit from one room to another, and runs on environmentally friendly R410A refrigerant, so you can sleep well knowing it isn’t harming the ozone layer.

    This dehumidifier is easy to set up, works great, and best of all – it’s quiet. We can hear it running when we’re near it in the basement, but the noise doesn’t travel very far. Even when we’re nearby, it’s just a soft hum while running.

    I just got this unit for my home, it looks very cool to me, it’s definitely designed to use in a larger room or space, there are big water storage tank, or you can directly use hose connect to sewer, it running very quiet, automatic turn off, speed are able to change , timer setting include also this big unit cool future equipped with wheels, so you can easily move to any corner you want, nice.

    What I’m also happy with is how quiet the unit is. I got a commercial unit for our garage, but placed it in the house for a few days. That was noisy. This is pretty dang quiet. A few things. I read one review that said the water container doesn’t have a handle. It does. Was nicely taped away. Another is you can hear the water when it flows a little into the tank.

    We had to replace our not sold old dehumidifier because it keep throwing a code and was not worth the cost to fix Bought this one and it works good.It has this ring that lights up 3 different colors so you know at a glance what the humidity is.I added a pump in the water bucket to automatically pump out the water to the drain in my laundry room.

    We do have a lot of moisture and some leaking in the basement when it rains so it was a pretty big job for a small dehumidifier. I would say this is a great purchase for smaller rooms but if you have a larger basement and have a lot of issues with moisture, you’re going to need two or three of these or a dehumidifier that is a lot larger.
